Christmas, everyone is sending me pictures of their tables full of tasty goodies and I am sitting there with dried berries in my hand and wondering how quick my fruit diet is coming to an end.

On this beautiful occasion I decided to try the recipe of vegan truffles that I found on Faring Well food blog ( http://faring-well.com/chocolate-hazelnut-tootsie-roll-bites/ ) and the result was absolutely amazing!!!

We just couldn’t believe that you can make something so delicious but at the same time - healthy!

They are perfect if you do not have an oven and if you don't have much time! I want to introduce you a bit changed recipe for these sweets//

For ~40 candies you will need:

- 2 glasses of hazel nuts

- 2 glasses of oats

- 5 spoons of cacao powder

- 1/2 tea spoon of cinnamon

- 2 glasses of dried dates (no bone)

- 1glass of dried figs

- 1 tea spoon of honey

* I used a small glass, but if you want more candies - use bigger

At first - you will need to place your hazel nuts in the pan and heat them till it is easy to take of their skin

Put nuts, oats, cacao powder and cinnamon to the food processor and blend it till it looks like flour

Blend it till it looks like this:

Add figs, dates and honey

Blend again. You have to get a dough that is coming together itself while blending. If it still look like flour - add one dried fruit at the time and you will see that they are coming together

Make bubbles while rolling the dough with your two palms

Also, you can put one hazelnut inside, so you could feel double hazelnut power when you eat:)

Anyway, place them in a jar or box with a lid, keep them in the fridge

Or eat them right away

Merry Christmas, friend

Big hug and see you!
